We are looking for an ambitious and tenacious National Account Manager to join our Wholesale & Convenience channel.
You should be a self-starter who is comfortable to proactively initiate activities to reach the brand and commercial goals. Challenge motivates you and you are always determined to solve any problem that comes your way. You are also very happy to get involved and “hands on” whenever required, given we like an entrepreneurial “get sh*t done” approach…

This role reports to the head of the channel, working from home and our central London HO.
You will be managing your business area of key customers;
To profitably and effectively manage & develop customer partnerships at all levels, including in relation to developing new business opportunities and key customer contacts both individually and as part of the team.
To ensure activation of agreed plans that meet sales, distribution & financial objectives.
To professionally represent the business and brand at all times.
To actively contribute to all elements of the VW commercial plan, whether directly part of responsibility or not.
Once plans are built and agreed, display an ongoing relentless focus on execution, distribution & availability to ensure consumer interaction is maximized in all outlets.
To ensure spend, ROI, volume sales, value sales, distribution plans and promo plans are activated.
To fully contribute to the wider sales plan & strategy irrespective of day-to-day business/channel responsibilities.
To be successful you have a sincere interest in being part of a rapidly developing team and an appreciation for regular change as we go through a rapid growth phase.
You are well organized and combine this with an open and friendly personality.
Solutions oriented, and ability to go the extra mile to find a solution that works for all stakeholders.
Good level of commercial skills, including levels of negotiation & customer management exposure.
Analytical and numerate with a keen attention to detail. You use MS Excel with ease and have the ability to manipulate, analyse and report data effectively. And the desire to turn data and analysis into activities.
Excellent communication skills coupled with the drive, and passion to add value at any level of brand interaction (internal, customer and consumer).
Can effectively work under own initiative and possesses the resourcefulness to highlight and follow through with challenges & opportunities alike.
The ability to be hands on and shows potential for future strategic thinking.
YOU BRING WITH YOU
Proven strong commercial skills.
Exposure to UK sales channels with some key contacts to build from
Experience in working in a high paced environment.
FMCG experience ideal, particularly drinks and food.
University degree is positive but not essential.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
