Vitamin Well Group in the US
Vitamin Well made its debut in the US market in 2019, initially introducing NOCCO, followed by the launch of Barebells in 2020. Since then, the company has witnessed remarkable growth, with its products now widely available across the country in various gyms, gas stations, and grocery stores. Our team is characterized by its high level of engagement, agility, and a shared passion for ensuring our brands become a staple in households across the US.
The US market has rapidly emerged as having one of the most significant volume increases across our markets. In response to this success, we have developed and launched products specifically designed to meet the unique preferences and needs of the US consumer.
About the Role
The Senior Commercial Manager is responsible for enhancing Vitamin Well North America's commercial strategy to drive sustainable growth across all sales channels. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will work with the commercial organization, ensuring alignment between sales, revenue management, category strategy, and cross-functional business priorities.
They will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, strengthening customer partnerships, optimizing commercial performance, and helping scale the business while maintaining a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilites:
Support the development and execution of commercial strategies focused on sustainable, profitable growth across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Partner with the Mexico team to support and enhance local commercial strategy, evaluating market opportunities, channel priorities, pricing, product assortment, and profitability.
Evaluate pricing, margins, promotional investments, trade spend, and other commercial costs to ensure decisions are supported by clear financial and strategic rationale.
Assess proposed sales and promotional initiatives, asking the right questions around cost, expected return, volume, and overall business impact before investments are made.
Analyze profitability across customers, channels, products, and routes to market, including eCommerce and emerging channels.
Evaluate existing and potential sales channels, identifying opportunities to improve profitability, expand distribution, and capture additional market share.
Identify white-space opportunities across customers, channels, products, pack sizes, and markets and develop recommendations for how the business can capture them.
Support new product and SKU evaluations across the U.S., Canada and Mexico, including pack format, pricing architecture, margin, profitability, and overall commercial viability.
Partner closely with Finance to strengthen commercial analysis, challenge assumptions, and ensure the right questions and financial considerations are incorporated into decision-making.
Work closely with Sales to evaluate customer opportunities, promotional proposals, and investments and provide the analysis needed to support stronger commercial decisions.
Create greater transparency around commercial performance by translating data into clear insights, scenarios, and recommendations for the CEO and broader leadership team.
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Operations to evaluate opportunities from both a commercial and operational perspective.
Monitor market, customer, competitive, and category trends across North America to identify growth opportunities and potential risks to the business.
Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive commercial experience within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, preferably in food and beverage.
Demonstrated success developing and executing commercial strategies that drive profitable growth.
Knowledge of the U.S. retail landscape, distributor networks, and customer management.
Experience working with national retailers, wholesalers, and distributor partners.
Strong financial and analytical acumen, including experience with pricing, trade spend, forecasting, and revenue management.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Salary Range:
The base salary range for this position is $100,000–$200,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
Work Location:
This position is based in Marina del Rey, California, and requires on-site attendance five (5) days per week.
