Vitamin Well made its debut in the US market in 2019, initially introducing NOCCO, followed by the launch of Barebells in 2020. Since then, the company has witnessed remarkable growth, with its products now widely available across the country in various gyms, gas stations, and grocery stores. The US market has rapidly emerged as having one of the most significant volume increases across our markets. In response to this success, we have developed and launched products specifically designed to meet the unique preferences and needs of the US consumer.
About the Role
The Master Data Specialist is responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and governance of core business data across ERP, Global Data Synch Networks (1WS/Syndigo) and operational systems. This role ensures that product, customer, vendor, and pricing data are maintained consistently to enable seamless execution across supply chain, customer operations, finance, and sales.
The Position:
Master Data Management & Governance
Own governance, creation, maintenance, and accuracy of master data across ERP & supporting systems for the North America Subsidiary
Manage key data domains including:
Display/Promo Item / SKU master (dimensions, attributes, BOMs, packaging)
Customer master (ship-to, bill-to, pricing groups)
Vendor / supplier master (3PLs, Repack Operators, Co-manufacturers etc.)
Pricing, trade terms, and discounts
Global Data Synch maintenance (support/ create/update 1WS, Syndigo platforms)
Establish and enforce data governance standards, naming conventions, and workflows. (review and partner with HQ)
Ensure consistency of data across systems (ERP, WMS, EDI, planning tools).
Data Quality & Integrity
Monitor data quality through audits, validation checks, and exception reporting.
Identify and resolve data discrepancies that impact order processing, reporting, or financials.
Partner with teams to prevent upstream data errors and improve data discipline.
Maintain documentation of data standards and data dictionaries. (Customer and supplier requirements)
Process Support & Cross-Functional Coordination
Partner with Supply Planning, Customer Operations, Finance, and Sales to support data needs.
Ensure accurate setup for new product launches, customer onboarding, and vendor integration.
Support pricing updates, promotional setups, and customer-specific configurations.
Act as the gatekeeper for data changes, ensuring proper approvals and controls.
Support projects and ad-hoc related tasks as directed by Manager and Head of Operations
Systems & Reporting
Support EDI/ ERP enhancements, implementations, and system integrations
Collaborate with IT or external partners on system improvements and automation.
Support scaling of processes as the business grows in complexity (customers, SKUs, channels).
Support external data or system related maintenance, creation or governance (state, federal or government agencies)
What you will need to succeed:
2-4 years of experience in master data, supply chain operations, finance operations, or ERP administration.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Experience working with ERP systems (D365 preferred).
Advanced Excel skills (data validation, lookups, data cleansing).
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Additional Preferred Skills:
Experience in CPG, food & beverage, or consumer goods.
Familiarity with EDI, WMS, or planning systems.
Understanding of supply chain, order management, and finance data flows.
Experience supporting system implementations or data migrations.
Curious and tech savvy
Salary Range
The base salary range for this position is $70,000–$80,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
Work Location
This position is based in Marina del Rey, California, and requires on-site attendance five (5) days per week.
