Junior Product Developer Vitamin Well Group
At Vitamin Well Group, we provide great-tasting drinks, snacks, and protein products. Our brands Vitamin Well, NOCCO, and Barebells are available across most of Europe, North America, the MENA region, and parts of Asia Pacific. With a revenue of 650 million euros, we operate in over 40 markets, with headquarters in Stockholm and offices in fourteen countries around the world.

At Vitamin Well Group HQ in Stockholm, the Global Product Development department is responsible for creating the products behind our brands. With over 50 new launches annually, the team leads the formulation work that defines taste, texture, and function—making sure each product delivers on what our brands stand for. Working closely with co-manufacturers and suppliers, they develop and refine recipes that are ready to perform in real production and in real markets.
We are now looking for a Junior Product Developer to join the team—someone structured, curious about flavour, and ready to take initiative in keeping projects on track.

About the role
As Junior Product Developer, you will take part in ongoing projects and handle a mix of practical and administrative tasks within the Product Development team. You will take part in tastings, evaluations, and project meetings, ensuring decisions and actions are documented and followed up. The role includes maintaining and updating product documentation, coordinating with internal teams and suppliers, and supporting the daily activities that keep projects running smoothly.
This position gives you a broad view of how product development works in practice—across brands, markets, and categories—and the opportunity to grow your understanding of both the technical and commercial sides of product creation.
Your daily tasks will include
- Preparing and organising product samples.
- Taking part in sensory evaluations and recording results and feedback.
- Keeping project documentation and product data accurate and up to date in internal systems.
- Coordinating information and follow-ups with suppliers, co-manufacturers, and other internal teams.
- Supporting project meetings by compiling notes, distributing updates, and tracking progress.
- Assisting in the improvement of routines and templates used within Product Development.
What you can expect
- Be part of the core team that develops products for Vitamin Well, NOCCO, and Barebells.
- Daily collaboration with experienced product developers who share knowledge and expect you to contribute.
- The chance to build technical and sensory skills through hands-on work across categories and markets.
- Taste matters here, but so does what you document.
Who are you
You are early in your career but have already gained an understanding of how product development works in practice. You have a strong sensory sense and a genuine curiosity for flavour, texture, and how products come together. Food, beverages, and formulation interest you on a deeper level—you notice details, ask questions, and want to understand why things taste and perform the way they do.
You are structured in how you work, can prioritise multiple tasks, take initiative, and collaborate easily across teams to keep projects moving from idea to finished product.
Essential skills:
- A degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or another relevant field.
- You most likely have 1–2 years of experience from working in an R&D or product development department within food or beverages.
- A developing but keen sensory ability and understanding of formulation and evaluation work.
- Confident working in Office 365, with proven experience coordinating projects, managing documentation, and handling follow-up.
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive, detail-oriented way of working.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
If this sounds right for you, send your application today.
Last day to apply: November 16th 2025
We will review applications on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the last application day. We appreciate LinkedIn, but to get a full picture of your experience, we ask you to also include a CV.
