To accelerate growth and strengthen our commercial presence, we are now looking for a dedicated field-based Assistant Sales Manager.

About the role
This is a commercially driven, field-based sales role focused on accelerating distribution and sell-through across fitness and HORECA channels in Hong Kong.
You will be responsible for expanding our presence in gyms, fitness studios, lifestyle operators, hotels, restaurants and cafés. The majority of your time will be spent in the market — visiting accounts, identifying new opportunities, strengthening relationships and ensuring consistent brand execution at point of sale.
Success in this role depends on structured account planning, proactive prospecting and the ability to translate customer relationships into measurable commercial growth. In addition to building distribution, you will analyse sales performance, identify gaps and prioritise actions that improve results.
The position is employed by our local distribution partner in Hong Kong and fully dedicated to Vitamin Well Group. You will work closely with the local distributor team in day-to-day operations, while reporting to the Sales Manager APAC, Distributor Markets, based in Singapore. The role is based in Fo Tan, New Territories, and is primarily field-based across Hong Kong.
Responsibilities include:
Manage and grow key accounts across fitness, HORECA and lifestyle channels in Hong Kong
Proactively identify and secure new customer opportunities within gyms, studios, hotels, restaurants and cafés
Conduct regular and structured account visits to build strong, long-term relationships
Develop and execute account-specific sales plans, promotions and activation initiatives
Negotiate pricing, trading terms and commercial agreements
Drive product visibility and execution at point of sale to increase sell-through
Analyse sales performance, prepare regular sales reports and gather market intelligence
Manage Advertising & Promotion budgets in line with agreed brand and commercial plans
Work closely with regional stakeholders and brand principals to ensure alignment with strategy

Who are you
You are a field-oriented sales professional who understands that growth comes from regular customer visits, strong relationships and consistent follow-up. You are comfortable approaching decision-makers, discussing commercial terms and building long-term partnerships across fitness and HORECA channels.
You take ownership of your accounts and work in a structured, disciplined way. You are proactive, reliable and comfortable working independently in a market-facing role.
An interest in fitness, sports or active lifestyles — and familiarity with the gym or fitness community in Hong Kong — will be an advantage.
Essential skills to succeed
3–4 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within FMCG, beverages, sports nutrition or HORECA-related industries
Demonstrated experience managing and growing customer accounts
Experience negotiating pricing, trading terms and promotional agreements
Experience developing and executing account-specific sales plans and promotions
Experience reviewing sales performance and preparing sales or market reports
Strong communication and presentation skills
Fluency in spoken and written English and Cantonese
