Marketplace Manager - Vitamin Well Group

With a revenue of 650 million euros, we operate in over 40 markets, with headquarters in Stockholm and offices in fourteen countries around the world.

Our Digital Sales team operate across markets on a global scope. Together, they drive and scale our D2C and Marketplace business, combining commercial focus with data-driven execution. Digital is a key part of our future growth strategy, and the team plays a central role in accelerating sales, strengthening our direct consumer relationships, and shaping the next phase of our digital journey.
About the role
We are looking for a commercially driven and operationally hands-on Marketplace Manager to own and develop our marketplace business in Europe, with a strong focus on Amazon.
In this role, you will lead strategy and execution – balancing topline growth, profitability and brand equity while ensuring operational excellence across platforms. You will be responsible for driving results across marketplaces in a structured and scalable way.
You will collaborate closely with our US Marketplace Manager, local market teams, operations and external partners to ensure alignment across pricing, assortment, inventory and campaigns. The role reports to Head of Digital Sales.
Key responsibilities
Marketplace ownership
Lead marketplaces in Europe, with primary focus on Amazon.
Develop and execute a long-term marketplace growth strategy with clear commercial targets.
Drive Amazon growth across content, pricing, assortment and campaign planning.
Ensure high-performing product listings, including SEO-optimized content, accurate pricing, inventory alignment and brand compliance.
Define and drive the pricing strategy using tools and competitive insights to protect market share and margins.
Identify and act on commercial opportunities across assortment, promotional activities and cross-channel synergies.
Omnichannel alignment
Act as the key link between marketplace, D2C and retail, ensuring alignment across pricing, inventory and promotional activities.
Collaborate closely with the Marketplace Manager in the US to align strategy and share best practices.
Support product launches and seasonal campaigns across channels.
Enable efficient stock flows to support sustainable growth.
Work closely with local operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
Performance & Operational Excellence
Monitor, analyze and optimize KPIs including conversion rate, buy box share, traffic, sales velocity, return rate and customer reviews.
Take full responsibility for end-to-end marketplace operations, including order flow, returns management, shipping accuracy and SLA compliance.
Drive continuous process improvements and manage key integrations with ERP, PIM, WMS and third-party tools to ensure scalability and efficiency.
Stakeholder & Partner Management
Serve as the go-to marketplace expert for the European market, both internally and externally.
Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics providers and third-party solution partners.
Share insights, best practices and local market learnings to continuously improve results.
Who are you
You bring solid hands-on experience working with Amazon Marketplace, preferably within FMCG, and a proven track record of driving growth in a structured and profitable way.
You combine a strong commercial mindset with analytical sharpness and operational drive. You are comfortable navigating both strategic discussions and detailed execution, and you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where ownership and impact matter.
What you will bring
5–10+ years of experience within Amazon Marketplace, preferably within FMCG or consumer brands.
Proven experience managing and growing marketplace business on Amazon.
Hands-on experience optimizing product listing pages with a clear focus on conversion.
Data-driven in decision-making, with strong analytical skills and experience working with Excel, BI tools and performance dashboards.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate insights into action.
Solid technical understanding of digital architecture, APIs and platform integrations.
Experience working across digital and retail channels with an omnichannel perspective.
Self-starter with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
